Isn’t this just a Proxy?

No. As well as being much faster than a proxy, VPN4ALL works with all the applications that transfer data over the Internet. This includes but is not limited to web browsing, streaming, downloading, Skype, IM, FTP and even your email. A proxy will only change your IP address and nothing more when you browse the web. Your ISP and other third parties can see and read all of your personal data in your internet traffic, and then can determine that in fact you are using a proxy because the data itself is visible. It’s useless to use a simple proxy as you are not invisible to anyone and are just showing that you are trying to hide without actually hiding.

VPN4ALL creates a VPN Tunnel or a Virtual Private Network that controls all incoming and outgoing TCP Internet connections. Each VPN tunnel is totally anonymous and it helps to keep your activities anonymous and safe. A VPN connection is an attractive option for people concerned about their security and privacy while connected to the Internet. It is not a web proxy, it is much more advanced than that. The VPN Tunnel securely encrypts and encapsulates all your data in transit over the internet so that no one can intercept it or log and cache it.

VPN4ALL also conceals your local IP address so that no one can trace your online activities back to you, your computer or even your ISP.
