and read it. So, don’t forget to pass the password to the recipient (securely)!
Decryption is done locally in your browser, so the message remains encrypted at all times for everyone else but you!
With the recent news exposing NSA’s systematic search and recording of our emails, we all need a simple and safe method to Encrypt our email and messages. What can you do to ensure that your email or message is only read by the people you intended them for? Use VPN4ALL Cryptobrowser to ensure all your emails are only read by your intended recipient and not someone else.
Cryptobrowser – A simple to use Browser Encryption/Decryption Extension
Cryptobrowser is a simple browser extension for encryption and local decryption of your social networking messages & emails on any web browser email client: Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL, Mail.com, ShortMail, Yandex.com, Rediff.com, Sify.com, Web.de, MyWay.com, gmx.com and any other web mail client you choose.
Unlike other encryption formats, Cryptobrowser does not leave any tell tale signs on third party servers. It does not store the Decryption Key anywhere. The Cryptobrowser extension does not create any logs or copies. The Decryption key is only known to you and the recipient and you can make the Decryption Key as long and robust as you like. Cryptobrowser is a transparent tool that encrypts your text without leaving any traces.
CryptoBrowser is not limited to encrypting social networking messages & emails. It can encrypt any text. Cyrptobrowser encrypts a target text using the AES 256bit encryption standard – the military standard encryption used by NSA itself to keep its own secrets.
Simple to Use
Cryptobrowser is incredibly easy to use. Simply drag the extension file into the Extension tab of your Chrome browser, open your favorite web-based email client or a social network messenger, and type in a message. Then, hit the “4” button and set up your desired Encryption password.
Select the text of the message and right-click to reach “VPN4ALL Cryptobrowser ⇨ Encrypt”. Cryptobrowser will encrypt the text of your message with military-grade encryption and automatically paste the encrypted version of the text into the message field.
The message will arrive to the recipient encrypted. To decrypt, the recipient has to select the text and right-click to reach “VPN4ALL Cryptobrowser ⇨ Dencrypt”. Cryptobrowser will ask for the same Encryption Key (Password) you used to encrypt the message. It’s that simple!
Note: Make sure to send the password to your recipient through a secure method: phone, IM, etc
Send Password Securely
Don’t send your password by email! Instead, use a different, secure method to send your password to the recipient of the message. For example by SMS, IM or by phone.
For best security use a web-based email client or social network that is not hosted in the USA, UK or Europe.
Encrypt All your Online Activities with a VPN
Use VPN encryption for all your online activities, not just your emails and messages. It’s important that you encrypt every online transmission including VOIP via Skype or any other VOIP service, IM, browsing, sending documents or pictures, ID details or online banking and credit card details.
A Personal VPN Service protects your digital identity and personal data online from hacking and theft. A Personal VPN Service also changes your visible to the world online Internet address (IP address) so that nobody can trace your online activities back to you.
